Our fish portions are frozen and vacuum sealed after they are sustainably caught off the coast of Alaska. It is possible that the vacuum seal on a portion of fish will unseal during shipment or in your home freezer. If this occurs, we recommend that you eat this portion first (within 2-3 weeks of receiving) as the quality will decline faster than other portions.
Individual portion sizes range from 0.8-1.2lbs. As such, shipments by the case will be within the following ranges:
· 5 lb case will contain a minimum of 4.7 lbs
· 10 lb case will contain a minimum of 9.8 lbs
· 15 lb case will contain a minimum of 14.8 lbs

Frozen fish packages are shipped with UPS in Green Cell Foam, the most environmentally sustainable packaging available. Made from US-grown corn, Green Cell Foam is certified compostable in backyard and industrial facilities and can even be dissolved in a sink for safe and easy disposal.
Orders will arrive within 2-6 business days after your purchase. However, because of various circumstances (weather, covid-19 pandemic, holidays, UPS/Fedex mishaps, etc.), delivery dates are subject to change. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number for your shipment.
We are able to ship our frozen fish to the contiguous United States. Alaskans, please contact us for info on ordering directly from our Juneau warehouse.

Yes. Our wild Alaska salmon is troll caught, meaning they are fished one by one using hook & line. This allows us to specifically target the species of salmon we are fishing for and, in the event that we catch another type of fish on our line, it provides us the opportunity to toss it back into the ocean without harm. This is an incredibly sustainable and environmentally friendly method of commercial fishing.
We also strictly adhere to Alaska Department of Fish and Game guidelines because their mission includes protecting, maintaining, and improving the fish resource of the state of Alaska. If we cannot maintain (at a minimum) and conserve our wild fish population, we will be unable to serve you with the best wild salmon and seafood on the planet. Thus, protecting our environment and preserving what we have is core to our own mission.

Because our fish is wild caught, the size and color of each salmon varies. For this reason, we cannot guarantee specific cuts or individually package weights. However, we can guarantee that all our fish are handled individually with utmost care.

We are committed to providing you the highest quality Alaska salmon and seafood. If you are unhappy with a recent seafood order, please let us know so that we may resolve the issue. Depending on the circumstance, we may replace your shipment or issue a full or partial refund of the purchase price.

Frozen is fresh. We sustainably fish for wild King and Coho Salmon one-by-one using a single hook and line (no nets). Then we vacuum seal and freeze each fillet to be shipped directly to your door. This “fresh frozen” approach preserves the taste and quality you deserve, reduces food waste, and gives Alaska fisherman the opportunity to sell their catch all year round.

The short answer: not as much as you think.
Our salmon fillets are portioned into approximately 1 pound pieces. They are easy to stack (or stuff) into small freezer spaces. A 10 lb order of our salmon takes up about half a cubic foot, which fits easily in a standard upright refrigerator/freezer. For those worried about freezer space, our 5 lb case is a great option!

Shoreline Wild Salmon fishes in Southeast Alaska primarily during the months of July, August, and September. We strictly adhere to Alaska Department of Fish and Game guidelines because their mission includes protecting, maintaining, and improving the fish resource of the state of Alaska. If we cannot maintain (at a minimum) and conserve our wild fish population, we will be unable to serve you with the best wild salmon and seafood on the planet. Thus, protecting our environment and preserving what we have is core to our own mission. Please note that because our fish is primarily caught during these limited months of the year, you may receive frozen fish that was caught in the prior calendar year. For example, an order placed anywhere from January through June/July will receive seafood that was caught in the prior calendar year.
