Try this Air Fryer Alaska Salmon Rub 3 ways, featuring wild salmon fillets seasoned with your choice of Greek, BBQ, or turmeric ginger rubs, air-fried in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 fillet of Shoreline Wild Salmon Coho or King Salmon (approx. 1 lb)
- 2 teaspoons avocado oil
- Choose your Salmon Seasoning Blend
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Lemon or lime wedges
Greek Rub
- 11/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Sweet and Smokey BBQ Rub
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Tumeric Ginger Rub
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Pick your Seasoning Blend. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
- Preheat air fryer to 400F. Cut fillet into portions and dry with paper towels. Brush oil all over salmon. Mix together desired seasoning blend and generously sprinkle onto salmon on all sides. Place salmon fillets in a lightly greased air fryer basket, skin-side down. Air fry until salmon is golden brown and just cooked through about 8-10 minutes. (Air fry in batches if needed for smaller air fryers. Additional cooking time may be needed for king salmon fillets.)
- Brush with warm butter and serve with lemon or lime wedges.
